11/6/17 -- 11/10/17

We have had a very BUSY WEEK because we started our Christmas play practices on Monday which will put us in a whole new routine for the next several weeks! The kids enjoyed the heath fair today and have several goodies to bring home from it! Thanks to all the parents who ordered Scholastic books! Our class earned 15 new books and over 100.00 in classroom money to buy fun games and learning supplies! I am sending home 2 more SCHOLASTIC book flyers for CHRISTMAS BOOKS if you would like to order some Christmas books/stocking stuffers. This will be our last Scholastic order until after the first of the year. Please don't forget to send in the kids' snacks. We are running low on backup snacks.

 Kyler Williams will be our STAR OF THE WEEK next week.

We will be having a VETERANS DAY celebration at 10 a.m. on Nov 10th. Dress your child in red white and blue and feel free to come to our special service in the big gym. There will be no public bus transportation that day. The kids WILL NOT be performing, but we will be honoring our veterans.

 We are also sending home a THANKSGIVING DINNER form. Please fill it out and return it as soon as possible if you plan on eating lunch with your child on November 15th. Also, we are sending home a YEAR BOOK order form, also due on the 15th. The cost of the yearbooks are $40.00. Thanks for everything! You all are great parents!

 Finally, we will working on our "J" bible verse again this week!

10/30/17 - 11/3/17

 We will be learning the "J" Bible Verse " Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

OUR STAR OF THE WEEK NEXT WEEK IS EMMA HINES!

Lastly, every year, Preschool and Kindergarten join together and have a fall celebration called "THE TASTE OF THE MAYFLOWER" where the kids dress up as either an indian or pilgrim and we do activities with them over in the big gym all day. I will be sending home more info about this in the next week or so. The date for the event is November 17th. We will be needing volunteers to help us on the day of the event. That's all for now!

10/23/17 - 10/27/17

Several IMPORTANT things: SCHOLASTIC ORDERS WERE DUE TODAY. So far, we only have 2 orders. THANK YOU FOR THOSE! If you still want to order, please send in the order or message it back to me no later than Monday. Our class will be doing the opening song at chapel next Wed, the 25th. If you want to come watch your child sing a song and stay for a 15 minute sermon, we would love to have you! It starts at 8:10 and ends by 8:55ish. You will need to report to the big gym by 8:10. Don't forget our FIELDTRIP to the local Firehouse is next Friday, Oct 27th. Please send your child's booster or carseat that morning. If you plan on going on the field trip with us, you must drive yourself, and your child can ride with you if it is marked on your permission slip.
 
Our "I" bible verse for next week is "If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:14.
 Please practice this verse with your child so they can get a perfect score when they recite it to me next Friday.

10/16/17 - 10/20/17
